7th IFMSAT Asia Pacific Regional Meeting at Yanhee International Hospital

It was with much pride and privilege that Yanhee International Hospital accepted the request to serve for the first time, as venue for the 7th Asia Pacific Regional Meeting for the International Federation of Medical Students in Thailand last March 18, 2010, in cooperation with the Siriraj Hospital, the organizers of this event.

The day’s activities which lasted from 8.00 A.M. – 5.00 P.M., began with a short program, held at the biggest conference room on the 15th floor of the new YIH building, with Ms. Areerat Diaosurin, YIH Intl. Thai Marketing Manager as the emcee. The eighty young, vibrant guests, and would-be doctors who were welcomed, as well as the CEO and other executive personalities in the Yanhee organization who were introduced, all enjoyed the refreshing humor and  amusingly creative style of  Dr. Ismael E. Naypa, YIH Intl. Marketing Manager, in delivering his welcome address, and in his introduction of the lecturer, no less than the CEO himself, Dr. Supot Sumritvanitcha on the topics: Hyperbarric Treatment, Chelation, and Detoxification, all being the most current treatments in Alternative Medicine available in the hospital.  A brief and interesting QA portion followed the coffee break.

After a most filling and delicious lunch which was very artistically packed, courtesy of the federation,  the guests were divided into four groups , in a guided tour to the Detoxification Center, the Hyperbaric Treatment Center, to the International Patients Private Wards at the 10th floor, and to each department and treatment center in the Yanhee International Hospital. The day’s activity commenced with the guests convening at the same conference hall on the 15th floor, with closing remarks given by Ms. Areerat Aunsasuttiyanont, a representative of the International Federation of Medical Students, after which Yanhee International Hospital souvenirs were distributed to the guests to make the event more memorable.
