            Many married couples have come to a plateau of their married life and have considered the idea of having to divorce after discovering each other’s sexual inadequacies unresolved.

            The point is that married women should be educated and open-minded to undergo a vaginal repair after going through a series of child deliveries and numerous sexual intercourse. Thus, married women are advised from the medical point of view to go through a vaginal repair or vaginoplasty to resolve any of the following problems, such as urine incontinence, urine seepage, a prolapse and sexual dissatisfaction in behalf of the sex partner, which is foremost a main factor in the partner’s unfaithfulness to the marriage vow.

A woman doesn’t have to wait for these syndromes to set in.  She has to visit her gynecologist the soonest.  The immediate medical advise your specialist will give is an anterior/posterior repair or vaginoplasty.

Factors why an Anterior/Posterior Vaginal Repair is necessary
  • Slackening of the vaginal cavity due to overuse.
  • Loose vaginal cavity due to several child deliveries.
  • Looseness of the vaginal cavity cause lower abdominal pain after a sexual intercourse

Repair Procedure

  • Repair should appropriately be done 2 weeks before the next menstrual period to avoid adulteration of blood during the surgery and loss of blood.
  • No food or liquid is taken in at least 6 hours before the scheduled operation.
  • The surgical procedure takes only an hour to have the surgery done.  The patient may be allowed to go straight home after the surgery.

Post-Operative Care

  • Refrain from carrying heavy objects and from a lot of walking.  Stays at home for 2-3 days.
  • Clean the wound a dip the buttock  in water for about 5 minutes twice a day for 1-2 weeks.
  • Takes the medicine the doctor prescribes and visit him a week after the operation.
  • Avoid sexual contact for at least 45 days.

A/P Repair Treatment for Solving Problems

  • Can’t hold urine urge back.
  • Uncontrollable urinary flow when one coughs or sneezes

An A/P Repair patient stays in the hospital for 4 days.  Abstain from sexual contact for 45-60 days.

A/P Repair Procedure

  1. The doctor will use either local or general anesthesia for this particular surgical procedure.  Usually in this case, a general anesthesia is used and the patient is put to sleep.
  2. The surgical operation is both done to the posterior and interior vaginal cavity wall including the diaphragm to correct all possible existing syndromes.
  3. It takes 2-3 hours to perform the operation. And the patient stays in the hospital for about 3-4 days while the wound is healing and the syndromes is corrected.
