The most common symptoms a patient experiences is a lump in the lymph nodes of the neck, underarm and the groin area. Other symptoms may include fevers, night sweats, weakness, anorexia nervosa, itchiness, and red patches on the skin. In addition, there would be times when the patient gets uncomfortable feelings, such as nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain.
Treatment may depend upon the stage-level of the disease. However, the physician will require the patient to go through series of laboratory tests, particularly of the blood, and if treatment is necessary, the patient is subjected to radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Early detection and treatment of the disease will save the life of the patient.
