Rhytidectomy

Facelift is a rejuvenation procedure which involves repositioning of facial tissues and removing loose skin to eliminate slack, folds, and jowls and diminish deep lines. A full facelift is composed of three parts: forehead lift, mid-facelift and neck lift. A patient may undergo one or a combination of these depending on his or her need.

Forehead lift

This surgery aims to smooth frown lines on the forehead and raise the position of droopy eyebrows. 

Mid facelift

The target areas of mid-facelift are below the eyes, around the nose, and the jaw line.  This can be combined with a neck lift for the optimum sculpted look.

Neck lift

This procedure tightens the skin of the neck giving more definition to the chin to neck angle.  A neck lift alone is usually not recommended because exposure of the surgical field is limited.  Aesthetic results may be more significant if done together with a mid facelift.
