What is the RE-GEN treatment all about?
Re-gen is a treatment procedure which uses tripolar radiofrequency wave technology used for the purpose of tightening the skin. This uses the combined effects of mono-polar and bi-polar RF energies to promote the deep layers of the skin, the dermal and sub-dermal layers at the same time, in a controlled area, to smoothen, tighten, and regenerate skin collagen.
It is a painless, non-invasive procedure, used to treat skin laxity and bring about facial tightening, which is best for patients with mild to moderate sagging of facial tissues, and which can be done for patients with any skin color.
How does the RE-GEN treatment work?
The combined effects of uni-polar and bi-polar RF, a unique feature of this technology, provides simultaneous deep and shallow dermal tightening, resulting in microscopic changes to the tissues and collagen contraction, with subsequent collagen remodeling.
- The skin is properly cleansed and kept dry.
- The treated area is lubricated with natural massage oil.
- Position the patient in a most comfortable manner for him/her.
- Position the applicator on the patient’s skin, and begin the treatment.
The heat being applied on the patient must be monitored by the physician or trained assistant, verbally, and by physically feeling it regularly throughout the entire treatment.
What are risks/side effects of the RE-GEN treatment procedure?
There are neither known risks nor side effects of this treatment procedure.
What is the recommended number of treatments in order to achieve optimum results?
The recommendation is treatment once a week for 6 weeks then once a month for 3 months.
How soon can visible effects be noted?
Shortly after the treatment, a noticeable tightening of the skin can be seen. However, most visible results can be seen upon completion of the entire prescribed treatment.
