I felt I was at home at Yanhee. Being a black person, I was a bit scared that there would be prejudice. I was welcomed and treated in a very respectful manner. The nurses were very cheerful and Dr. Vitasna was excellent. I know I would definitely refer other people and family to Yanhee. Dr. Vitasna, first and foremost, I write this unreservedly and with my sincerest gratitude for your profound expertise, utmost patient respect and diligent guidance in the restoration of my health as a woman.
At the age of 40 I suffered a significant pelvic organ prolapse, and without private medical insurance in Australia, quickly discovered that the public waiting list for AP repair surgery and a hysterectomy could be as long as 3 years and as a self funded private patient could cost as much as $18,000AUD.
Driven by this, I was prompted to explore the options of surgery outside my home country and finding you was a true blessing. Your dedication to your specialization in Gynaecology and Obstetrics throughout your career was evident through the thousands of operations that have you have conducted and that have been recorded by the hospital . This gave me complete confidence that under your care, I was in expert hands.
The international coordination staff of the Yanhee International Hospital made communication with you easy and clear, all my questions were answered completely and promptly. And within a couple of weeks I had my booking confirmation for my surgery. The total cost of my repair surgery and flights etc amounted to around a third of the cost in Australia.
The day before my operation, I visited the hospital and was graciously given a “hospital tour” by my English speaking coordinator. I was extremely impressed with the staff, efficiency and overall cleanliness of the hospital. As a last minute decision, I requested a consultation with a plastic surgeon, Dr Suthat Koonawarote for a Mammoplasty and I was amazed at the fact that this was able to be organized and coordinated into my surgery that was scheduled for the very next day. The many testimonials that I had read from his Australian patients, and in fact from those all over the world, gave me great confidence in his expertise.
For the days I was hospitalized after my surgery, I feel compelled to thank both you and Dr Suthat and the compassionate nursing staff on the 10th Floor. At all times I was treated kindly and with respect. Every step of the way, there was a staff member to assist me from making general inquiries, to booking accommodation and airport transfers.
If, in the future, there will ever be a need for a specialist doctor and surgery for any member of my family, there will be no hesitation to return to your hospital, as I truly believe that I could not have received better care and expertise anywhere else.

All I can say is if I were to rate Yanhee Hospital, the score will be superior plus. My doctor, Dr. Vitasna Ketglang, was very professional, gentle and caring. All the nurses and aides were always there for me, ready to assist me with a smile on their face. They were always poised, well-groomed, gentle and caring. The food is good. Room is very clean and with no smell like in other hospitals so that you won't even touch anything or eat their food. Yanhee's bathroom is like your own bathroom at home - no filthy corners or slippery floors. Everything is perfect. Lastly, I would never had gone through this surgery without the extreme help of Lauren Moreno, aka "Kukie". She was there for me and gave me the courage to go through this procedure. The effort, love and care which she showered to me was out of this world. Her mother was also there for me all the time. I really felt the love from all of the Yanhee doctors, nurses, aides, and staff. I WILL RECOMMEND YANHEE TO ANYBODY FOR SURE!

"From the beginning I immediately had a good and warm feeling about this hospital. "The hospital was easy to find. Everyone in Thailand knows where it's at. Right when I walked through the doors I knew where to go because the International Desk was so easy to find. After my consultation with Dr. Suthat I was at ease and knew I was in the right place. Surgery took place that day and everyone at Yanhee helped me stay calm and at ease about the whole process. After the surgery I received around the clock care as well as excellent meals throughout my 4 day stay. It's only been less than a week but so far I am over the moon with my results. "I had been planning on having Breast Reduction in Australia for quite some time but it was just not affordable. After doing some research on the internet, I decided to go ahead with my surgery here. Not only did I have Breast Reduction but also a Tummy Tuck. My doctor, Dr. Pitch, was very friendly with a beautiful smile. I was made to feel comfortable from the minute he walked in the room to examine me. My operation went well and the pain was well worth it. I was given plenty of pain relief medication which made it more bearable. All of the staff were extra special. They really looked after me. "This whole experience was very easy to organize and execute. The hardest thing was booking the flight. From walking into reception Yanhee staff kept the whole process flowing smoothly and within 12 hours my procedures were complete. Down time was minimal as everything is catered for and the Yanhee client has absolutely nothing to worry about except recovering. This has been an interesting journey, certainly one I would do again. “I was impressed from the moment I arrived and reassured by the many pre-op precautions/preparations. It was also reassuring to note the strict procedures followed by each and every department to identify me, ensuring I was who I was and what procedures I was undergoing. My doctor explained everything I needed to know and he ensured I understood what was being said. The follow-up by my doctor was again reassuring with clear explanations and thorough check-ups to ensure the best possible outcome and to allay any concerns I may have had. He was very professional, kind and courteous. The nurses that attended to me were also very friendly and processional. No request went unanswered and they could not have done more. I especially liked it when monitoring vital signs that they would let me know if I had not fever or if my blood pressure was normal or a little bit high. Also they would inform me what medication I was being given.”

“From beginning to end this has been a very good experience, Information was rapidly sent through e-mail and phone which erased any fears of the unknown. The transfer service was prompt and patient inspite of delayed flights and lost luggage. Every member of the hospital staff that we came in contact with was extremely polite, helpful and accommodating. It will be sad to say goodbye to this wonderful facility. I am very anxious to see the final results of surgery but as of now it already looks perfect.”
