This innovative procedure can also help reduce acne scars and hyperpigmentation, resulting in a more even skin tone. Our comprehensive guide will walk you through everything you need to know about the procedure.

What is Re-gen skin treatment?

Re-gen is a treatment procedure which uses tripolar radiofrequency wave technology used for the purpose of tightening the skin. This uses the combined effects of monopolar and bipolar RF energies to promote the deep layers of the skin, the dermal and sub-dermal layers at the same time, in a controlled area, to smoothen, tighten, and regenerate skin collagen.

It is a painless, non-invasive procedure, used to treat skin laxity and bring about facial tightening, which is best for patients with mild to moderate sagging of facial tissues, and which can be done for patients with any skin color.

How does Re-gen treatment work?

The combined effects of unipolar and bipolar RF, a unique feature of this technology, provide simultaneous deep and shallow dermal tightening, resulting in microscopic changes to the tissues and collagen contraction, with subsequent collagen remodeling.

Re-gen Procedure

  1. The skin is properly cleaned and kept dry.
  2. The treated area is lubricated with natural massage oil.
  3. Position the patient in the most comfortable manner for him/her.
  4. Position the applicator on the patient’s skin, and begin the treatment.

The heat applied to the patient must be monitored by the physician or trained assistant, verbally, and by physically feeling it regularly throughout the entire treatment.

Possible risks/side effects

The Re-gen treatment procedure is generally safe, but like any medical procedure, it carries some risks and potential side effects. These can include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the treatment site. In rare cases, patients may experience allergic reactions or skin infections. It’s important to follow post-treatment care instructions carefully to minimize these risks. Our comprehensive guide will walk you through everything you need to know about the procedure, including how to minimize risks and side effects.

How many treatments are recommended for best results?

The recommended number of Re-gen treatment sessions can vary depending on individual skin concerns and goals. Typically, a series of 3 to 5 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. However, your healthcare provider will assess your skin condition and recommend a personalized treatment plan based on your specific needs. Our comprehensive guide will walk you through everything you need to know about the procedure, including the recommended number of treatments for different skin concerns.

When can visible effects be seen?

Shortly after the treatment, a noticeable tightening of the skin can be seen. However, most visible results can be seen upon completion of the entire prescribed treatment.
